- Rinse the cast iron body immediately after use with warm water and a soft brush. Do not soak.
- Dry the cast iron body completely with a cloth before storing.
- A light wipe of food-safe mineral oil on the cast iron body every few months will extend its life.
- The stainless steel components (cone, drip tray) are dishwasher safe.
- If surface rust appears, remove it with a folded paper towel and a small amount of coarse salt, then rinse and dry.
- Store in a dry location. Moisture is the only real threat here.

What is a vertical cast iron citrus press?
A vertical citrus press extracts juice by pressing halved fruit downward with a lever rather than spinning or reaming it. What fruits can it juice?
